For our November meeting we all met in Blackheath.
For our first task we collaborated with a musical group called Brother Tree. We listened to some of their musical pieces and wrote down our thoughts and ideas brought about by the music. These responses were shared at the Brother Tree concert on the 3rd of December.
Our second task was inspired by the work of Neil Gaiman. In 2013, Neil created a writing challenge for Guardian Books. He wrote the first few lines of a story and invited his readers to finish it. See here.
“It wasn’t just the murder, he decided. Everything else seemed to have conspired to ruin his day as well. Even the cat.”
We had 15 minutes to come up with a murder mystery. You can read our pieces here.
